Plumbing Prep Class: Any one needing a Plumbing Prep Class call the hall to sign up, so we can schedule this class.
Valve Tech Class: Members wanting a valve tech class for working in Nukes, we need a min of 8-10 people, call April in Escanaba to sign up.
Training Class(es): Call the hall to be placed on the list for this up-coming class(es).
The Upper Peninsula Joint Welding Tests: Welders call the Escanaba Hall to be put on the list for testing. When 6 to 8 people on the list are ready, a date will be set for testing and you will be notified by our coordinator.
The Local 111 Training Department is looking for members interested in becoming Certification Instructors. Below is a list of the certifications and the requirements to become instructor certified. Certification Instructor Requirements
ATR – Authorized Testing Representative (Able to Oversee Weld Test Events) – 40 Hour course. Exam
Backflow – Current ASSE Certification, 40 Hour Training Course, Written and Practical Exams and Application to ASSE.
Instrumentation Technician – 60 Hour Course, Written and Practical Exam
Medical – Gas – Current Braze and NFPA Certification, 40 Hour course, Exam.
Signal Person – 20 Hour course, Written and Practical Exams. Must conduct a class within 6 months of receiving accreditation.
Rigging – Two (2) 40 Hour courses, both Written and Practical Exams, or current rigging certification and One (1) 40 Hour course with both Written and Practical Exams.
Valve Technician – Current Valve Technician Certification and 40 Hour course with both Written and Practical Exams.

MSHA Safety Training 8 / 24 hour: Call Ann @ 906-226-6511 ext. 4 to be placed on the list for the month you want to get your training, limited to 20 for each month. Classes will be in Marquette at the hall and in Escanaba at 1219 First Ave South at 8:30 AM.
